The Revolution in Religion

Religion has historically been about control.

People have been controlled through the use of religion for thousands of years. This is the meaning behind religious law.

We can see this easily in Judaism, in Christianity. The Hebrew Bible has numerous cases where people were put to death because of religious law. The New Testament too has strict religious law which provides for societal control, and a historical study of the Catholic Church will show that control is not the only interest of the historical church--governmental power is.

Since 300 CE, Christianity has sought to be close partners with the government.

Thus, it is not surprising to see the Fundamentalist Church today in open revolt against our government.

The government of the United States is against partnerships between religious power structures and governmental power structures.

With their normal source of power restrained, the Fundamentalist Church doesn't quite know what to do.

We must remain vigilent. Christianity has no place in the federal government. We cannot have any laws restricting access to public institutions which are based on religious law.

Because of this, attempts to restrict access to abortion, birth control and marriage are unconstitutional.
